Sofa Care & Maintenance

Sofas should be used under normal household conditions and handled with care. Avoid jumping, standing, or placing excessive weight on armrests, backrests, or extended sections such as recliners.

Dust the sofa regularly using a soft, dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dirt and debris. For fabric or upholstered surfaces, clean spills immediately by gently blotting with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub the spill, as it may spread the stain. Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or strong cleaning agents, as these may damage the fabric and color.

Keep sofas away from direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure may cause fading or discoloration of fabric and upholstery over time. Also avoid placing sofas close to heat sources such as heaters or fireplaces, as excess heat can affect foam, fabric, and structural components.

Cushions should be fluffed and rotated regularly to maintain shape and ensure even wear. Slight softening of foam and minor wrinkles in fabric are normal over time and part of regular usage.

Modular Furniture Care & Maintenance

Modular furniture should be placed on a flat, even surface to ensure stability and proper alignment of doors, drawers, and panels. Avoid dragging furniture while shifting; always lift carefully to prevent structural stress or joint damage.

Clean surfaces using a soft, dry cloth. For laminated or wooden panels, use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning and immediately wipe dry. Do not use excessive water, as moisture can damage the board, laminate, or finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners, acid-based solutions, or rough scrubbers that may scratch the surface.

Keep modular units away from continuous exposure to moisture, water seepage, or damp walls. Prolonged contact with water can weaken the material and reduce durability. Avoid placing very hot items directly on surfaces, as heat can damage laminates and finishes.

Do not overload shelves, drawers, or compartments beyond recommended capacity, as this may lead to bending or hardware damage. Hinges and channels should be used gently and not forced if obstructed.

Trevi Furniture Corp Pvt. Ltd. offers a 3-year manufacturer warranty on sofas, covering defects in the internal frame, foam/padding, and mechanical parts under normal household use. If a manufacturing defect is verified, the company will repair or replace the defective part at its discretion.

This warranty does not cover upholstery or fabric, normal wear and tear, fading due to sunlight, or damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, incorrect installation, or unauthorized repairs. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and for residential use.
