Product Details

Berry wine in velvet behaves differently from berry wine in flat fabric. Velvet has a pile, so the shade shifts as you move around it: deeper where the pile lies away from you, lighter where it lies towards you. On a deep red-purple that effect is strongest, which is why a velvet armchair in this colour reads as the most expensive thing in a room even when it is the smallest.

The frame is seasoned solid wood and the foam is medium firm, so the seat gives a little without sinking. It stands 30 inches wide and 32 inches deep, marginally deeper than it is wide, which gives a fuller seat than the footprint suggests. The seat sits at 17 inches, comfortable height for most adults to rise from unaided, and PVC legs lift the base 3 inches off the floor so a vacuum head passes underneath. At 20 kilograms one adult can reposition it alone.

Two matching throw cushions are included. Velvet needs a little more care than flat fabric, so it suits a bedroom, a study or a formal sitting room better than a high-traffic family room. It arrives in a single box and our carpenter completes assembly at your home.

Warranty

Trevi Furniture Corp Pvt. Ltd. offers a 3-year manufacturer warranty on sofas, covering defects in the internal frame, foam and padding, and mechanical parts under normal household use. If a manufacturing defect is verified, the company will repair or replace the defective part at its discretion.

This warranty does not cover upholstery or fabric, normal wear and tear, fading due to sunlight, or damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, incorrect installation, or unauthorised repairs. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and for residential use.

Care and Maintenance

Vacuum weekly with a soft brush attachment, moving in the direction the pile lies rather than against it
Shading and pressure marks where the pile is crushed are normal in velvet; lift them by brushing gently with a soft dry cloth
Blot spills immediately and never rub, as rubbing permanently flattens the pile in that spot
Use a dry upholstery foam suitable for velvet rather than wet cleaning, which leaves rings on pile fabric
Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, which dulls deep reds and purples over time
Rotate and plump the throw cushions weekly so the pile wears evenly

3 years on frame and structural components

Why does the colour look uneven in places?

That is the velvet pile, not a fault. Velvet reflects light differently depending on which way the pile lies, so the same shade looks deeper from one angle and lighter from another. Brushing with a soft dry cloth evens it out.

Is velvet harder to look after than flat fabric?

A little. Velvet should be brushed rather than scrubbed and cleaned with a dry upholstery foam rather than water, which is why it suits bedrooms and formal rooms better than high-traffic family spaces.

What are the exact dimensions?

30 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 31 inches tall, with the seat at 17 inches and the legs at 3 inches.

Is assembly included?

Yes. The sofa ships in one box and our carpenter completes assembly at your home.

What does the warranty cover?

Three years on the frame and structural components. Upholstery velvet, foam and stitching are not covered under the structural warranty.

Does it come with cushions?

Two matching throw cushions are included.

Free delivery across India, with a tracking number on every order. Orders are usually delivered 7 to 12 days from dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

What payment methods can I use?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and RuPay), UPI including Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm, net banking, and EMI on select cards. Payments are processed by Razorpay. EMI interest is charged by your own bank.

How do the bundle discounts work?

Add two items for an extra 10% off, or three or more for an extra 15% off. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, so there is no code to enter.

What does the warranty cover?

Sofas carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in the internal frame, foam and padding, and mechanical parts under normal household use. If a manufacturing defect is verified, we repair or replace the defective part.

It does not cover upholstery or fabric, normal wear and tear, fading from sunlight, or damage from misuse, improper cleaning, incorrect installation or unauthorised repairs. It is valid for the original purchaser and for residential use. A small number of pieces carry a different term, which is always stated in the Warranty tab on that product.

Do you deliver across India?

Yes. Delivery is free anywhere in India and every order gets a tracking number. Orders are usually delivered 7 to 12 days from dispatch.

Can I return an item?

Returns are accepted for transit damage and manufacturing defects rather than for a change of mind. Check the piece on delivery and tell us straight away if anything is wrong, and we will arrange a repair or replacement.
